How do I register for this amazing workshop?
You can email , list your name, phone number, and whether you are a current NLQG member. Your registration is complete once full payment has been received.
Do I need to bring my own sewing machine?
Yes, you will need to bring your own sewing machine.
Can I also bring my own iron?
The event coordinators will have several ironing stations set up for attendees to use. However, you will not be able to bring your own iron as it will exceed the electrical capacity of the venue if everyone plugs in their individual equipment.
How much does it cost?
$225 per ticket for guild members
$250 for non members
When can I register?
Current guild members can register immediately. Non guild members can register beginning September 16.
There is limited space for this event so we recommend adding your name to the waitlist even if you are not a current guild member!
What about meals?
A delicious lunch is included in the price of your ticket.
Can I choose any Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx pattern I want?
When you register for the class you will receive an extensive list of patterns to choose from that you can work on for this event.
I have the list of patterns but still can't choose which one is right for me.
You can call Roger at his store - Quilting From the Heart - in Camrose, AB for some advice or help. He is there Tuesday through Saturday 780-679-5492. You can also shop their online selection of Judy Niemeyer kits and patterns.
How do I prepare for the event?
Your patterns and fabric will need to be cut out so you can be ready to start sewing at the beginning of class. If you need help, there are instructional YouTube videos for cutting the templates.
What if I forget something?
Roger will be bringing a number of additional items available for sale for those that are interested. These items will include patterns and kits from Judy Neimeyer Quilting and basic quilting supplies that will be needed for the quilting projects.
